My wishlist for Flipboard

flipboard.png My first after-5-minutes-of-use impressions on Flipboard for iPad : I love it. I love the journal style presentation of information feeds – it’s not boring. It fetches related article information from web. And it’s a huge time saver – no need to tap back and forward just to see if the article is of any interest to You.

As Flipboard just came out there are some things I would love to get implemented into it. Just a short feature wish list, I’m sure, most of it will get into Flipboard in the future:

  • Scroll through the whole article instead of just one screen/page (would eliminate need to tap back and forth “Read on Web”)
  • Show those Youtube clips just right in “the arcicle” instead of in “Read on Web”… Kind of the same tap-back-and-forth a-little-bit-frustrating thing. Just keep to “tap-to-watch” and that’s it!
  • Add Google Reader feeds subscription to content.
  • Maybe LinkedIn and MySpace account support (just the same way as Facebook and Twitter)
