REV Handles – knot system

Kadangi domiuosi QuadKite’ais tai negalėjau nepastebėti “patiunintų rankenų”. Žemiau keletas ekspertų patarimų, ką ir kaip daryti.

I fly with a lot a of brake(lower lines shorter) most of the time as I like to work on tricks. For more relaxed flying I take off the brake a knot or two.

There are also a number of times where I change my line connections to the knots. You will, in time, develop your preferences.

rev handles

rev handles

trumpesnes apatines stropos = daugiau stabdzio:more brakes/revers

 Tuning examples:
PROBLEM: When you try to launch, the kite rises slowly off
the ground and the sinks again. Solution: top lines are too
long. Move your top lines in toward the handles by a knot.
PROBLEM: The kite is far too sensitive when you try to fly
backward; the wingtips (on a Rev) flip over very easily.
Solution: bottom lines are too short. Lengthen them by
moving the lines out by a knot.
PROBLEM: When you dive at the ground and then try to stop,
the kite is sluggish, doesn't "stop on a dime." Solution:
bottom lines are too long. Shorten them by moving them closer
to the handles by one knot.
PROBLEM: The kite flies at too steep an angle (with a Rev,
this usually causes luffing in the trailing edge, creating
quite a bit of noise). Solution: The top lines are too
short. Practice keeping more pressure on the bottom lines.
*Or* lengthen them by moving the top lines out by a knot.
